Fortunately, many businesses and individuals want to assist students like you in obtaining an education by providing a variety of grant and scholarship possibilities based on their interests, talents, and histories. In reality, in 2011, more than $49 billion in scholarships were awarded to first-generation college students.

Scholarships are made to help students concentrate on their academics and become part of future leaders rather than struggling with finance. 1. The $25,000 “Be Bold” Scholarship

3. Starbucks’ College Achievement Plan

Starbucks is dedicated to its partners’ success (employees). Through Arizona State University’s online program, every benefits-eligible U.S. partner working part- or full-time receives 100 percent tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree. Choose from more than 80 undergraduate degree programs, and we’ll be there to help you every step of the way.

4. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an award given to graduating high school seniors based on their academic achievements.

Students are honored for their ability to lead and serve, as well as their dedication to creating a positive difference in their schools and communities. 

Applicants must be current high school/home-schooled seniors in the United States, expecting to complete a high school diploma at the time of application, and intending to pursue a degree at an eligible United States post-secondary institution. 5. Engineering Scholarship from BMW

BMW AG awards a yearly scholarship in appreciation of its commitment to engineering excellence. BMW is known around the world for designing and manufacturing luxury, high-performance automobiles and motorcycles.

 In addition, the company is a pioneer in the development and production of high-tech, high-performance internal combustion engines.

6. HireAHelper Skilled Trade & Technology Scholarships

It’s a fantastic opportunity to go back to school and enter these lucrative and fast-growing businesses, thanks to rising demand and a shortage of educated individuals in skilled crafts like the moving industry. HireAHelper will provide a $2,000 scholarship to eligible students four times a year to help meet demand and aid the future generation of professionals.

7. FIRST Robotics Scholarships from Raytheon

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) graduates pursuing undergraduate studies like maths, science, engineering, or technology majors are eligible for the RST Robotics Scholarship program, which grants 40 individual $1,000 scholarships. Since 2003, we’ve offered the Raytheon-FIRST Robotics Scholarship and have awarded $400,000 in scholarships.

8. Doodle For Google

All K-12 students are invited to submit a Doodle of the Google logo in any medium for a chance to win a prize in the Doodle 4 Google competition.

The artwork of the National Winner will be published on the Google site, and they will receive a $30,000 scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant for their school. Return on the 7th of January to learn the theme of this year’s contest and get doodling!

9. Sponsorships for Dick’s Sporting Goods Sports Teams

DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation participation in sports improves people’s lives. Sports boost children’s self-esteem and encourage them to stay in school and pursue further educational goals. They assist in the development of character and the teaching of life lessons that transcend well beyond the playing field. That’s why our Foundation, Community, and Sports Matter programs have made it their mission to provide chances for young athletes to participate in sports.

10. COVID-19 EMERGENCY AWARD | TMCF

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and its partners are happy to offer COVID-19 emergency financial aid to students enrolled in one of TMCF’s 47 clearly and openly Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Students who are chosen will earn an emergency payment of up to $1,000 for the academic year 2020-2021.

11. Brand Duct Tape Scholarship Contest 

We’re awarding $20,000 in cash scholarships to high school seniors who create the greatest prom dress using Duck® Brand Duct Tape!

12. Microsoft Blacks Scholarship

BAM (Blacks at Microsoft) is a Microsoft-sponsored employee network dedicated to the continuous learning and success of black employees within the corporation. 

Applicants for the Microsoft Blacks Scholarship recipients must be African-American high school seniors who plan to enroll in a four-year college or university in the fall of their senior year and pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or chosen business disciplines.

13. Intel scholarship

Each year, around 400 scholarships will be given out around the world. Scholarship applicants will get each award of up to $4,000 (USD) to go toward their further education. Depending on whether your kid is seeking a two-year or four-year degree, scholarship awards will differ. The scholarship money can be used for tuition by the children who get it.

14. The Ford Foundation’s Scholarship

The Ford Motor Company Fund and the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation have teamed up to award students who are writing stories about women who are empowering others. One student winner will earn $3,000, payable to the winning student’s educational institution, and one student runner-up will get $2,000 for the 2020 educational autumn semester, courtesy of AWMF and the Ford Motor Company Fund.

15. National McDonald’s® HACER® Scholarship

What criteria are used to choose scholarship recipients? Academic accomplishment; financial need; community activity; and personal traits and strengths as portrayed in a personal interview, either in person or over the phone, are used to determine award applicants.

16. Scholarship through the Dell Scholars Program

Dell Scholars was established by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation to highlight and help an underserved population: students in the academic middle from low-income families who are often the first in their families to attend college. Since the program’s inception in 2004, the foundation has helped over 4,800 scholars, including over 2,000 college graduates. In their pursuit of higher education, all Dell Scholars have surmounted substantial personal obstacles.

17. Scholarship Program of the GE-Reagan Foundation

The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the memory and character of our nation’s 40th President by providing financial aid to college-bound students who display extraordinary leadership, determination, honesty, and citizenship.

18. Scholarship from Shell Incentive Fund

The Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship and the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship were established to provide financial and career support to graduating high school seniors who have shown an interest in the energy business and have demonstrated proficiency in mathematics and science. Shell will fund up to 20 one-year $2,500 grants for graduating high school seniors enrolled in engineering or geosciences at Shell-identified universities in each program.

19.  Discover Student Loans Scholarship 

The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award is an opportunity to win a scholarship from Discover Student Loans. Sign up for emails to receive college advice and resources, as well as a chance to win a scholarship. Throughout the year, 12 deserving students or parents will be chosen at random to receive a $5,000 Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award to assist with college costs.

20. Huntington’s College Scholarship

Huntington’s College Scholarship is a scholarship competition for students planning to attend college. Simply fill out this Official Entry form and submit it by the date given in the Official Rules to be eligible to win a $4000 college scholarship!

21. Scholarship for Taco Bell Live Más

The Live Más Scholarship is not awarded based on your academic performance or athletic ability. There are no essays, test scores, or correct or incorrect responses. We’re on the lookout for the next generation of artists, dreamers, and innovators. 

Send us a video (2 minutes or less) telling us about your life’s passion. A short film, animation, or even a simple testimonial could be used. It’s not about how good of a filmmaker you are; instead, we want you to demonstrate your enthusiasm and explain why you should be considered for a Live Más Scholarship.
