Now accepting applications for the 2017 STEM Scholarship program. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related field at an accredited U.S. four-year university or college.
The Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program rewards the academic achievements and commitment of high school graduates interested in pursuing a bachelor of science degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. The program aims to narrow the gap between the demand for scientific skills in business and industry and the current supply. It awards scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $40,000 per year for up to four years of study at a local community or technical college
Lockheed Martin fund the annual scholarship program, which includes a combination of university tuition assistance and an opportunity to apply for four-year scholarships each fall. The Lockheed Martin Scholarship is renewable each year contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by the student’s attending school.

Interested candidates must be;
- U.S. Citizens.
- Current high school seniors with a cumulative 2.5 or above GPA, or current college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors with a cumulative 2.5 or above GPA.
- Planning to enroll or already enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
- Majoring or planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Be willing to consider a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding (note: the internship is not required to receive a scholarship, and scholarship recipients are not guaranteed an internship).
